Nice, solid, excavated, coat size, Mississippi "I" (Infantry) uniform button. This button was recovered several years ago from a Mississippi Infantry camp located along route in to Gettysburg. The button has a chocolate patina with no dents and has the shank intact on the reverse. It is backmarked, "Hyde & Goodrich, N.O." It is solid as can be and has very pleasing eye appeal. Fresh to market from an old collection from Maryland.
