1832 US Enlisted Soldier's Belt and Buckle acquired from the estate of Sydney Kerksis

This is a 1832 enlisted soldier's plate that has a leather keeper. The belt and plate are in great condition and look unworn. This came from the estate of Sydney C. Kerksis. It was purchased by a collector in 1980. Mr. Kerksis was the author of Plates and Buckles of the American Military 1795-1874. This is a rare find in this condition. The buyer will receive a copy of the bill of sale from the Kerksis estate. Also, a notarized statement from the seller will be provided.
